Looong Hiatus


It seems like I've fallen off the earth lately seeing how I haven't posted anything in a couple of years.  Lots have changed, and a lot hasn't.


First of all, I have changed school districts and grade levels, so now I'm still getting up early like when I was running before work, but now it's so I can get ready before my 40-45 minute commute instead.

As for what hasn't changed?  I'm still not gaining any ground on losing weight, rather, I'm gaining the weight instead.  




However, last month I signed up for cardio classes that started last Tuesday and go twice a week.   I paid for the whole month, which is my way of making sure that I attend all of the classes.  It's fun and I can mess up along with everyone else who goes.  We're all different shapes and sizes, so the intimidation factor is eliminated.

So I guess my goal now is to build up my endurance.  I'm not bouncing as much as I'd like to, as in high impact because I am bouncing in the ways I don't want to bounce.   Anyhow, once I get to the level of endurance I'm working toward, then I think I'll add in some treadmill running.  I would like to run outside, but the morning is out of the question unless I get up at 4AM.  That's not going to happen.  

The treadmill will be the alternative days that I don't have the cardio workout.  As we get closer to fall and winter, running in the evening might not be a good idea with it being so dark.  I could do it with a headlamp and reflective clothing, which I already have, but I think I'll need to get my mindset ready for it first.  I just have to do it.

Well, I just need to get my head back in the game.  After reading my past posts, I know I can get there.
